Computed Tomography

Our computed tomography (CT) service is committed to excellence in patient care and dose reduction. The Philips Brilliance 16-slice CT scanner and our technologist are accredited by the American College of Radiology (ACR) and have pledged to adhere to Image Gently guidelines.

The scanner software is designed to provide sagittal, coronal, axial and 3-D reconstructions of the images that are taken in less than a second by the machine. These multiple views give our radiologist more information when reading your exam.

Our new Acist automated power injector allows us to administer intravenous contrast at exact times to visualize both arterial and venous blood flow, when required for certain testing.
