Lab - MT or MLT (On-Call)
Monday - Friday (some weekends and evenings)

Role and Responsibilities
Perform waived, moderately complex and highly complex laboratory testing procedures in all areas of the lab.
Keep accurate records.
Know and follow established industry techniques.
Follow establishes protocols for quality assurance, quality control, and proficiency testing.
Review and release results with a critical eye for possible sources of error.
May be assigned a sub-specialty or bench to organize and maintain.
Troubleshoot sources of error including instrument performance. Participate in the quality assurance program.
May be assigned projects relating to quality control, training, instrument selection, or other topics by manager.
Follow safety policies of the laboratory.
Perform support services as needed for patient care including sample collection, processing, and clerical work.
Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications and Education Requirements
Graduate of accredited medical technology or medical laboratory technician program.
High attention to detail.
Ability to work in a team environment.
Leadership ability: ability to organize processes and supervise lab assistants and technical aides.
Courtesy, dependability, trustworthiness, ability to produce accurate results within time constraints.
Experience and skill in outpatient phlebotomy or willingness to learn on the job.
Ability to obtain and maintain a State of Washington Medical Assistant Certification.
