Insurance & Billing

The mission of our Business Services department is to help our patients get their medical bills paid. We do this primarily by submitting claims and responding to a wide variety of requests for information, or reasons for claim denial, by insurance plans. We cannot guarantee that your plan will pay for our services, but we will do our best to help you receive all of your legitimate benefits.

Pay Your Bill -

Commercial Insurance

We are contracted with most major commercial insurance companies and insurance networks available in this region. Insurance networks include many smaller commercial insurance plans and are too numerous to list on this site. The best way to determine if your plan will cover services you receive at the Walla Walla Clinic is to call the customer service number on your insurance card and ask.

Medicare and Medicare Advantage

We are participating providers for Medicare Part B, and for certain Medicare Advantage plans available in our region. Medicare Advantage plans may have limitations not common to Medicare Part B. The best way to confirm that your Medicare Advantage plan will cover services at the Walla Walla Clinic is to call your plan and ask.

We are participating providers for certain Medicaid plans in Washington and Oregon. We do not participate with Medicaid plans from any other state.

Workers' Compensation

We are participating providers for Washington state's Department of Labor & Industries and for a number of other workers' compensation plans. Please provide us your claim number and date of injury for all services you want billed as part of your workers' compensation claim. It is very important to do this at every visit.

Identification Cards for Your Insurance Coverage

Please bring your insurance identification cards with you and present them to our receptionists at every visit. We must have accurate information if we are to submit your claims correctly, and we must be able to confirm the information at every visit. We appreciate your help with this important step.

Your Insurance Benefits

Please familiarize yourself with your insurance benefits. If you have questions about your coverage, we encourage you to contact the customer service department at your insurance plan before you receive services. Their phone number should appear on your insurance card.

Personal Billing Statements

You may receive a billing statement from Walla Walla Clinic before or after your insurance plan processes your claim. Health plans mandate that you are financially responsible for payment of all co-payments, deductibles, co-insurance and noncovered services, and the Walla Walla Clinic is contractually obligated to collect them. Please do not request to have the Walla Walla Clinic adjust these from your account.

Co-payment for office visits should be paid when you check in with our receptionists for your appointment.

Personal balances are due in full when billed. If you would like to set up a payment plan, please call our Business Services department. We will be happy to talk to you about this option.
